Daytona 500: Date, time, TV schedule, live stream for 2019 race | NASCAR

The week is finally here. The NASCAR Cup Series officially kicks off Sunday with the Daytona 500.

Coming off of a season in which the Big 3 of Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. seemingly won every race and yet none came away with the championship as Joey Logano earned his first Cup Series title, this season is once again shaping up to be a good one as familiar faces (including Truex) take over new rides.

And as one new rule stipulates drivers who fail inspection after a race will be disqualified rather than simply dropping playoff points, this year comes with a little more risk, as well.

Qualifying will be determined Thursday at the Daytona Duels as William Byron will lead Duel 1 and Alex Bowman will lead Duel 2.

The Daytona 500 can be seen Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
