The Premier League has announced its fixtures for the 2019/20 season, and the new campaign starts with a mouth-watering encounter on Matchday 1.
The opening match of the new season will be played on Friday, 9 August 2019, with the campaign concluding on Sunday, 17 May 2020.
Defending league champions Manchester City start their campaign away at West Ham United , while Liverpool, the 2018/19 EPL runners-up, are up against Norwich City at Anfield.
UEFA Europa League champions Chelsea, who finished last season in third spot, will kick off their season against Manchester United, while Tottenham Hotspur will clash with Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Unai Emery’s Arsenal, who were pipped to fourth spot by Spurs in 2018/19, will look to get their season off to a winning start against Newcastle United at St James’ Park.

Five days after the start of the new season, Champions League winners Liverpool and Europa League winners Chelsea will do duty in the UEFA Super Cup in Istanbul, Turkey, on Wednesday, 14 August 2019.
The first Manchester derby will take place in December at the Etihad Stadium, while Jurgen Klopp’s side and the Red Devils clash in the first North-West derby of the season in October at Old Trafford.
