The Miami Dolphins will be taking part in the league-wide competition called the Huddle for 100. It is part of the NFL’s celebration of its 100th season.
You can help the Miami Dolphins reach this 100 million minute goal by simply volunteering in your community no matter where you live or where you volunteer at.
Contributing is easy. To get your hours and minutes counted towards the Miami Dolphins 100 million minute goal, post about your volunteer efforts on Instagram or Twitter. Use the tag @NFL and hashtag (or for you older peeps like me ‘pound sign’) #DolphinsHuddlefor100. According to the rules, you must have a public account for it to count towards the Dolphins minutes.
So where do the Miami Dolphins stand right now? First of course. There is no other NFL team that does as much in the community as the Miami Dolphins. If there is, prove it. The Dolphins currently, according to the NFL’s site on this event are head and shoulders above the rest of the league.
Miami currently has logged in 12,413 individual volunteers. The next closest is 2,083 individual volunteers. Those would be Patriot fans. Miami has also logged in 1,241,300 total minutes of volunteer time. The Patriots are 2nd with 208,300.
As Dolphins fans we need to keep this rolling. So if you are volunteering make sure you get on one of those sites and get your minutes logged and help the Dolphins run away with this challenge.
