GE Urges Justices SCOTUS to Turn Down Golf Course Cleanup Case

The General Electric Co. told the top court it should decline to review a a cleanup suit by a golf course owner under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.

Courts clearly aren’t obliged to impose a hazardous waste cleanup order after a finding of liability under RCRA and no reason exists to hear the suit, GE said in a July 22 response brief.
